How do you read the Earth-Pro Radial 853 size?
Take 320/85R24 as an example. It is 320 mm (12.6 in) wide on a 24 in (610 mm) rim. The R in a radial size marks the construction, and in a metric size the first number is the width in millimeters and the second is the aspect ratio. Our tractor tire size guide explains every number on the sidewall.
Before you order, check four things: the rim diameter matches your wheel, the load rating covers your heaviest working weight, the new tire matches the other tire on the same axle, and the size matches what the tractor maker approves.
Who does the Earth-Pro Radial 853 suit?
Choose it if your ground stays wet or heavy, or the tractor logs many hours a year. R-1W lugs run about 20% deeper than R-1, so there is more rubber to wear and more bar to bite with. The rim range, 24 to 38 inches, covers utility through row-crop tractors.
What are the limits of the Earth-Pro Radial 853?
R-1W costs more than R-1 and the deeper lug adds weight and road noise. For dry ground and light yearly hours a standard R-1 may be enough. The R1 vs R1W guide helps you decide. Radials also need careful pressure setting: use the maker load table for your weight.
How does the Earth-Pro Radial 853 compare with similar tires?
These models in our catalog overlap with the Earth-Pro Radial 853 in size, so they are the ones you are most likely to be choosing between. Compare price per tire in the size tables, and compare the tread and load data, not only the brand name.
