What does the maker list for the 303 FarmPRO?
- Three-rib steering tread.
- Tube-type bias construction.
- Dual load ratings (A6/A8) on each size.
- 6-ply in the small 16-inch sizes, 8-ply on 7.50-16 and 10.00-16.
Which sizes does the 303 FarmPRO come in?
Each size links to its own page with the width, rim and fitment notes. Not sure which one your tractor uses? Read it off the sidewall of the tire you are replacing, or use the tire size converter.
- 5.50-16: 140 mm (5.5 in) wide, 16 in rim
- 6.00-16: 152 mm (6 in) wide, 16 in rim
- 6.50-16: 165 mm (6.5 in) wide, 16 in rim
- 7.50-16: 191 mm (7.5 in) wide, 16 in rim
- 10.00-16: 254 mm (10 in) wide, 16 in rim
How do you read the 303 FarmPRO size?
Take 5.50-16 as an example. It is 140 mm (5.5 in) wide on a 16 in (406 mm) rim. The dash in a bias size marks the construction, and in an inch size the first number is the width in inches and the last is the rim diameter. Our tractor tire size guide explains every number on the sidewall.
Before you order, check four things: the rim diameter matches your wheel, the load rating covers your heaviest working weight, the new tire matches the other tire on the same axle, and the size matches what the tractor maker approves.
Who does the 303 FarmPRO suit?
Choose it for the front axle of a two-wheel-drive tractor. It steers, it carries the front load and it rolls freely. On a front-wheel-assist tractor the fronts are driven, so the size must match the rears.
What are the limits of the 303 FarmPRO?
An F-2 style tire is for a free-rolling steering axle, not for pulling. Keep the same tread and size on both sides. On a front-wheel-assist tractor the front tire must roll slightly farther than the gears expect, so match it to the rears with the lead-lag calculator. If you run a loader, read our front tractor tires guide first.
How does the 303 FarmPRO compare with similar tires?
These models in our catalog overlap with the 303 FarmPRO in size, so they are the ones you are most likely to be choosing between. Compare price per tire in the size tables, and compare the tread and load data, not only the brand name.
