Which sizes does the IMB 163 come in?
Each size links to its own page with the width, rim and fitment notes. Not sure which one your tractor uses? Read it off the sidewall of the tire you are replacing, or use the tire size converter.
- 11L-15: 279 mm (11 in) wide, 15 in rim
- 12.5L-15: 318 mm (12.5 in) wide, 15 in rim
- 16.5L-16.1: 419 mm (16.5 in) wide, 16.1 in rim
- 21.5L-16.1: 546 mm (21.5 in) wide, 16.1 in rim
How do you read the IMB 163 size?
Take 11L-15 as an example. It is 279 mm (11 in) wide on a 15 in (381 mm) rim. The dash in a bias size marks the construction, and in an inch size the first number is the width in inches and the last is the rim diameter. Our tractor tire size guide explains every number on the sidewall.
Before you order, check four things: the rim diameter matches your wheel, the load rating covers your heaviest working weight, the new tire matches the other tire on the same axle, and the size matches what the tractor maker approves.
Who does the IMB 163 suit?
Choose it for wagons, planters, balers, spreaders and tillage tools, where the tire carries load but does not pull. It does not drive anything. It rolls and carries, which is honest work.
What are the limits of the IMB 163?
Never fit a rib implement tire to a tractor drive axle. Straight ribs roll well and carry load but give almost no pull. Check the load rating for your wagon or implement weight, and the rim width for the size.
How does the IMB 163 compare with similar tires?
These models in our catalog overlap with the IMB 163 in size, so they are the ones you are most likely to be choosing between. Compare price per tire in the size tables, and compare the tread and load data, not only the brand name.
